PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY

 

The 2008 race for the White House is going full speed with 9 Democrats in the Primary. Democrat and unenrolled voters are urged to take interest in the Primary race and support the candidate of their choice.

2008 CAUCUS

 

The Framingham Democratic Caucus will be taking place in late January or early February of 2008. The exact date will be fixed once the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee determines the dates for the caucus window.

This caucus is conducted to elect delegates to the 2008 Democratic State Convention that will take place in Lowell. The 2008 State Convention is a nominating convention to nominate the Party's candidate for United States Senate. There are currently two Democratic candidates seeking nomination for this seat.

Officer's Election

 

The Framingham DTC officers will be elected at the March 16th meeting. Since the Presidential Primary has moved to February 5th all committees must re-organize within 30 to 40 days of the Primary.

The March meeting is being scheduled for a 10:30AM start featuring breakfast and a candidates' forum of Democratic candidates contesting in the 2008 Framingham Town Elections. Click for more info.
